Welcome to week 7! I just first wanted to say thanks to all of you who have been encouraging with your feedback as it helps to encourage me :). Also, I had been given the suggestion of starting a messageboard where people could discuss what they hear in this podcast or even discuss their recovery, if any of you think that would be good idea email me and let me know. However, this week we have Greg W. speaking on Steps 3, 4 and 5 spoken at a Carry This Message Conference in West Orange, NJ. Greg talks about powerlessness over his addiciton, not wanting to say he was powerless, but he realized he can't run his life on his own. As he puts it, "I don't know, I need help" a place that we all find ourselves in our addiciton. Also he talks about how we do the things in the 12 step program this to get better, not simply when we get better.
