Step 1 - Glasshouse (2002) John A.

Welcome to week 20! This week comes a bit early but it makes up for the last couple of weeks when I haven't posted till a bit later :). I never really expected the podcast to get this big but I'd thought I'd let you all know how wide the message has been able to be spread. While the number of subscribers who check the podcast on any given day varies from 150-200, I have anywhere from 400-500 downloads in any given week. But this isn't just isn't people from the US. There has been people from 27 different countries, including the US, that have accessed the podcast. I don't get any personal information when anyone subscribes, but it does tell me which country the podcast is being accessed from. And I have been amazed just how far the message has traveled and if you want to see a list of the countries, check it out on the blog (below this post) and if I don't have your country, either comment and add it or email me :). But I don't say all this to brag, I want to say thanks to all of you out there who have listened because it has helped me in my sobriety by keeping me in 12 step material, and also if it wasn't for you listeners, this podcast wouldn't be near as popular and not as many people would have heard about it. So thanks so much :). This week we have John A speaking to us on step 1 about what it was like for him to figure out that he was an alcoholic. John does a great job of reminding us why we go to our meetings if we're past step one and for those before it he helps you to see how in our lives we have really hit bottom with our addicitons. So enjoy! As always, this mp3 came from www.xa-speakers.org so check them out and feel free to email me at 12steppodcast@gmail.com !
