Steps 4, 5, 6 and 7 - Glasshouse (2002) - John A.

Welcome to week 10! As always check out www.xa-speakers.org for more 12 step audio just like this one as it came from that website! Also, feel free to email me suggestions, ways you were encouraged or almost anything else at 12steppodcast@gmail.com! And I think I have forgotten to say thanks to all of you who have been an encouragement with this podcast and have said how much it's helped, that encourages me to continue to carry the message to others and helps me to know that God is really working through this simple podcast. So this week John A. walks through the 4th through 7th steps talking about the different aspects of doing the 4th step inventory and taking the 5th step with another. I would highly recommend that anyone who is at the 4th or 5th step, or who has ever been through the steps to really listen to at least this part of the mp3 because he does such a good job at walking through very simply how one should take a 4th and 5th step. Also, John talks about our relationships with others and what they should look like and does it all with a lot of humor along the way. So enjoy!

Steps 3 and 4 - FSTOS - Mark H. and Dave F.

Welcome to week 9! I really should come up with a better start each week other then that but thus is life :). This week Mark H. and Dave F. talk about what it means to take a 3rd and 4th step, to really surrender ourselves to God and to take an honest inventory of ourselves. They remind us that God will let us do things on our own if we want to so we can rembeer that we can't do things on our own but instead that we need God to do anything and we need to ask for what His will is. As always feel free to email me at 12steppodcast@gmail.com, to suggest any audio or anything for the podcasts or just to give feedback which is always helpful! Also, this weeks mp3 came from www.xa-speakers.org so check them out!

However, this week we have Greg W. speaking on Steps 3, 4 and 5 spoken at a Carry This Message Conference in West Orange, NJ. Greg talks about powerlessness over his addiciton, not wanting to say he was powerless, but he realized he can't run his life on his own. As he puts it, "I don't know, I need help" a place that we all find ourselves in our addiciton. Also he talks about how we do the things in the 12 step program this to get better, not simply when we get better.
