Story - Tom N.

Welcome to week 41! This last week I didn't manage to get a file posted as my Grandfather passed away, and so this last week I've been trying to remember to care for myself. But today I listed to Tom N.'s story which was really great as he shared about his experience with the 12 steps, and reminds me, and I hope us, that we can be in the program and be sober and still suffer from our addictions. For this program is truly about a spiritual experience with God, not simply doing some work to get sober. We cannot get true sobriety until we connect with God, but so often that is missed. This week we have Johnnie H. finishing off our trip through the 12 steps by talking about what it means to live out the last three steps, how everything we have done has lead us up to these steps and how God is the one who carries us on even after we have went through the steps for the first time.
